''The Venice of tomorrow'' is my project, selected among the finalist projects, for the contest 'Venice of the future' by E-concept in collaboration whit Lightbox,The St.Regis Hotel, Repower Italy and Veneziadavivere (media partnership).
With my project I wanted to represent my vision of the Venice of the future through an illustration.
Initially I thought of Venice as a woman, creating a real personification of the city, whose face lying on the water, key element of life in Venice and central theme of the contest, fits between the buildings and the iconic elements that make it so characteristic.

Then, I wanted to represent the theme of sustainability in electric boating through the representation of the new e-dock charging pole, a characteristic element of the city, whose cable, before reaching the boat, symbolically runs through the streets and intertwines with the buildings of the city to symbolize the way in which all of Venice can choose a path in the direction of sustainability.
Furthermore, the face lying on the water would like to symbolize the gesture of listening that the city does towards the lagoon, water and nature to listen to the needs and problems due to climate change and the attention that Venice wants to give to this important question.
